We’re Hiring Quality Control Lead – Finance Shared Services
Location: Lahore, Pakistan
Descon Engineering is looking for a dynamic Quality Control lead to join our Finance Shared Services team.

Role Summary:
As the Quality Control Lead, you will take ownership of the quality assurance framework across all SAP FICO processes, drive internal control effectiveness, and play a key role in audit readiness and continuous process improvement across the Finance Shared Services landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
-Monitor and validate transactions across AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, and Intercompany
-Drive financial controls testing and ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, SOX, and Descon internal policies
-Lead error logging, root cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives
-Oversee month-end close quality assurance activities
-Partner on system and automation controls and continuous improvement projects
-Develop and conduct training programs to build a quality mindset across the team
-Provide actionable insights through quality dashboards and performance reporting
-Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
-99% or higher transaction accuracy
-100% documentation readiness for audits
-95% or higher on-time resolution of data errors
-100% staff trained on updated SOPs
-Continuous reduction in repeat control failures
Qualifications:
– Education: CA Finalist, ACCA Qualified, ACMA Partially Qualified, or MBA Finance
– Experience: 3 to 5 years in finance operations, shared services, or audit/compliance roles
– Mandatory: Hands-on experience with SAP FICO
– Preferred: EPC or multinational contracting industry experience
Skills & Attributes
– Strong understanding of financial controls and transaction integrity
– Expertise in SAP, Excel, and analytical tools
– High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach
– Strong communication and collaboration skills
