Job Title: Financial Controller

We are actively searching for a Financial Controller in Islamabad, a dynamic individual with strong leadership acumen and an unyielding drive for financial excellence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our organization’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in steering financial growth and implementing strategic financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise the financial operations of the organization, maintaining adherence to accounting principles and local regulatory requirements.
· Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, offering guidance, support, and mentorship.
· Develop and monitor financial budgets, forecasts, and plans to align with the organization’s strategic objectives.
· Guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including preparing financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to facilitate decision-making.
· Regularly review financial controls, identify areas for enhancement, and implement appropriate measures.
· Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, taxation laws, and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and integrating relevant changes into financial processes.
· Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banking institutions, managing cash flow, financing, and banking relationships efficiently.
· Provide guidance and support during audits, both internal and external, to uphold the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Skills and Qualifications:
· Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. CA or equivalent qualification is mandatory.
· 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with a preference for candidates with in-house experience in a Big4 accounting firm or similar background.
· Profound knowledge and understanding of ERP systems preferably SAP, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and banking operations.
· Comprehensive knowledge of taxation rules to ensure compliance in all financial activities.
· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
· Outstanding leadership and communication skills, proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
