Key Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable business insights.
– Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
– Connect, transform, and model data from multiple sources, primarily Microsoft Dynamics 365.
– Develop efficient data models, DAX measures, and calculated columns to support complex reporting requirements.
– Implement Power BI security, including row-level security, user roles, and secure data sharing.
– Automate reporting workflows and improve operational efficiency.
– Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
– Leverage AI techniques to support predictive analytics and identify business opportunities.
– Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
– 3+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development, including dashboard creation, data modelling, and DAX.
– Strong working knowledge of Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS within the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack.
– Strong understanding of Power Query, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data gateway concepts.
– Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
– Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and multiple data sources.
– Exposure to Microsoft Azure services (Data Lake, SQL Database, Data Factory) will be an added advantage.
– Familiarity with Python or R and machine learning libraries is a plus.
– Microsoft Power BI Certification or other relevant certifications will be an advantage.
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
